Cary Audio SLP-308 Silver and Black

For sale is an excellent tube preamp and amp from Cary. Uses 12AU7 tubes.Black and silver faceplates are available for the pre. No cosmetic blemishes, not smoke or functional issues.  Excerpt from the above review:

Excellent textures, too, something that, to a certain degree, goes hand-in glove with the warm tonality. You really sense the musicians at work here. Strummed electric guitar strings vibrating over the fretboard and pickups, thick, plucked bass notes, wooden drum sticks striking heads, and the swish clutch of a hi-hat were all delivered with a great deal of tactile presence, which brings to all recordings that hard-to define sense of life or lifelikeness that we hope for from our systems.

Comes with both silver and black faceplates and original Cary remote control. Shipping is not a problem, as is pick up from 14303 (Buffalo or Niagara Falls, NY)  The matching amp 200.1 is also for sale for $1000 and matches perfectly with this pre. A simply stunning combination.
