Used in a non-smoking home, this tube pre-amp was kit built in 2007, and retired from use in perfect working condition 3 years ago. I used it downstream from my digital front end's DAC, and upstream from an Ideal Innovations Elite 80 tube amp. All is functional. This is a nice sounding piece. I tube rolled its 12AU7's with JJ Tesla ECC82's. The Tesla's ship with the preamp. The unit also ships with its original power cord. One of the 14 machine screw females on the chassis that passively hold the cover screws needs to be retapped to accept a machine screw. This hardware store item is not included. See accompanying picture of the area of the cover with a missing screw. There is slight normal wear on the gold plated RCA female receptacles. Deoxit has always been used on the receptacles and interconnects attached to the unit.
