Originally priced at $5,800, the VTL ST150 is an extraordinary TUBE power amplifier.
In tetrode mode, the output is 150 watts per channel!
In triode mode the output is 75-90 watts per channel for low level listening.
With gigantic headroom, this powerhouse of a tube amp can drive any speakers and will improved any sound system. Its sound is sublime.
Cosmetically, as you will see in the high resolution images, it is immaculate.
It was just partially recapped (8 big capacitors). 4 new, rare RCA 6550 tubes costing $200 have been installed and professionally biased. A copy of the service receipt along with the replaced caps are revealed in the last 2 images. The original speaker cable fasteners were replaced with proper bolts to secure lugged or bare wire speaker cables.Please see the rear images. It will be carefully packaged with excessive dunnage and a double walled corrugated fibreboard case for safe shipping.
