Considered some of the best sounding tubes GE ever produced. Here is an excellent pair of horseshoe Getter early 1950's triple mica, reinforced plate, 5814; These are military spec 12au7, extremely rare in this condition. These tubes were identified at the factory as being extra quiet, hence the yellow tips, and were often supplied to hospitals or used in the most sensitive military equipment;making them unbeatable in audio applications. These tubes are famous for creating a very intimate, 3d soundstage with great top end sparkle. Enjoy bullet proof construction and great microphonic control. These tubes allow every aspect of the music to reveal itself: open. airy, great harmonic richness, a wonderfully balanced approach to your music; they test beyond new values, where max new is 2750 microhms, these come in at over 3100 microhms All conditions firm...PP and tracked shipping included to lower 48. All tubes are tested on 2 different and very accurate mutual conductance testers with no bloated or just plain made up results, with tubes especially, do not lose sight of the fact that most often, you get what you pay for. Tubes will be packed tightly and safely; look to my other classifieds for other fine vintage tubes, and be sure to drop me an email with any questions, or inventory needs, thanks
