Pr of the excellent sounding vintage 1960s Telefunken 12ax7/Ecc83 preamp driver tubes, smooth plates, authentic engraved diamonds on the bottom of the tubes(see pics). Very nice lettering. These are considered by many audiophiles and musicians as the best sounding of all the 12ax7/Ecc83 type tubes. They sound superb. These are the very desirable smooth plates version. They test very strong on both sides of both tubes. They both test over 880 on both sides on my B&K Mutual Conductance tube tester, where 640 is minimum good. They will probably out live you and I. They sound superb, the perfect balance of detail, naturalness, openness, transparency, dynamics, extension, musicality and smoothness. Buy with confidence, see my feedback. Good listnening, SonnY :)
