Closely matched pairs of Sylvania VT-231 6SN7GT, circa 1940's. These are also referred to elsewhere as " 2-hole" Bad Boys. They are simply
the VT-231 tube with the green consumer label.
Vt-231 isnt a special for military tube, just military nomenclature for the contemporary 6SN7GT.
All fully tested in NOS range and listening tested in a preamp for excessive noise and microphonics.
Excellent sound, among the very best 6SN7's IMHO along with the Bad Boy 3-hole plate and the Tung Sol Round Plate.
Very detailed with beautiful tone and excellent frequency balance throughout.
