McIntosh MR-85 MR 85 MR85 - Sounds GREAT - but problem

One AMAZING sounding FM tuner by McIntosh.  Includes AM antenna module.  SUPERB condition! No major scratches, LEDs work.  
PROBLEM: Consitently erases 2 memory stations (does not hold 2 of them, I believe 7 and 9) and occasionally/rarely the LED on the front flashes 2-3 seconds of garbled random numbers/letters/patterns.  Other than that works great.  If you know how to fix, great! Or if just want a tuner cheap that sounds great, but does weird things, great! I don't know how to open to inspect inside, so I won't.  
I won't lie, I'm moving and don't want to mess with sending it to McIntosh for repair (their wait time is 12-16 weeks), would rather just sell and let someone who knows how to repair benefit from this unit.
I'm out of St. Louis until Monday, so can't ship for 4-5 days, could get pics up then, but suspect will sell before them.  INCLUDES OEM DOUBLE BOX. 
Even though it works, I am technically selling it as Defective, Needs Repair
