This is one of the best analog tuners of all time. The MR 80 has an LED frequency display, but an analog tuning knob and mechanical tuning capacitor. The MR 80 has 4 presets that are like little separate tuners, and the tuning knob acts as a fifth preset. Some controls are located on the top of the tuner. The MR 80 is designed for difficult-signal reception, with filter, width, lock, and muting options.
I've been using the tuner for almost a year and it sounds great. The only problem I've had is the first preset doesn't always tune on the first touch. The tuner is immaculate with no blemishes and the glass is gorgeous. All lamps and LEDs work perfectly. I have the original manual and schematics.
Price includes a McIntosh L52 case with the Panloc brackets.
I just don't find myself listening to FM much, so I would prefer to have the tuner find a good home.
