[Price reduced- again] Original owner. I haven’t used it in 10 years so in terms of Swedish cleaning....it must go. Used to be part of a Tandberg “stack” and I had the rack handle option. Handles are pretty scratched due to moving wear and tear over years but they’ve performed excellent job of protecting main case from scratches, and they are easily removed. I’ve never had any service other than twenty years ago the string on the tuning knob’s inner working broke, so i replaced it with braided fishing line- better than new. Just fired up today (12/10) and dash lights are working, but memory buttons are lifeless, and no matter what button is pushed, it displays “4”. This can’t be good, so I’m selling for those who intend to have it refurbished- mainly a parts carcass. Case is in generally good shape, lights all work, new power cord, but don't really need and am hesitant to toss in the trash if there are folks who need pieces/parts.

| How are the preset buttons and dial lamps? They were good last time I used the tuner (15 years ago). I had misplaced the power cord when I posted photos. I've since located it, so will power up later this evening and issue updated photos with the power on to give you a sense of the illumination. I'll also spot check setting new memory to assure that's working properly. (I'm currently at a different location than the tuner, so this will have to wait a couple of hours for completion) |
