TRADES? REDUCED FOR THE LAST TIME! Trying this one more time due to previous buyer MIA. The offer from the seller who backed out(died?) was $1,650, so I've dropped price below that.This is not like the ones that come up on fleabay occasionally that have heavy pitting, been mishandled, or shipped by someone who doesn't know how to pack a turntable from a turnip. Moving on, this is the table real men own. No fancy prettyboy plinth to add resonance, no gooey silicone stuff, and no panty-waisted belts. It is a beautiful example. The aluminum has no pitting, has a beautiful shine, locks on to both speeds perfectly, and it is just a joy visually and to operate. The feet looked fine until I took them off to check suspension. The feet don't show signs of deterioration when in place on the turntable, but if you compress them in your hand they show cracking. I had read somewhere that they held air, but even if you were lucky enough to find one in this condition, the feet would likely not have any air, nor hold air. I've just replaced the feet with Isopods which fit perfectly. I doubt that you will find a nicer example overall. The Grace tonearm is equally exemplary and has all parts intact: yes, even anti-skating screw. The photo doesn't show armrest in place as I took it off to detail turntable and avoid damage. I'm willing to entertain partial trades on a nice cartridge plus cash(MM or HO MC and I would prefer sealed box), or a nice 2 channel preamp(SS or tube) plus cash. I will also sell the table separately from arm. Just be specific when making offers, I really would prefer not to use paypal, but I will and I'll absorb the fees. USPS money order or certified checks will be given discount to help me avoid fees. I will ship anywhere if buyer is willing to pay costs.
