I used this with my VPI HW19 Mark II turntable and it worked perfectly and a fraction of the cost of the SDS. I've changed tables and this will not work with my new table. Do your research to make sure it will work with your's. If it does, you'll love the results and the convenience of changing from 33 to 45 without changing belts on the pulley.

Music Hall's Cruise Control is an outboard power supply and power regeneration center which provides ultra pure and stable power to Music Hall or Pro-Ject turntables. Replacing the stock power supply, the Cruise Control delivers incredibly precise power with very low distortion and the effect on the turntable is simply stunning; bass becomes incredbily tight and rhythmic, the midrange becomes silky smooth and the treble extends and opens up. Music flows with greater presence and weight, slight speed instabilities which previously went unnoticed are now gone and the purity of tone is absolutely entrancing. Adding a Cruise Control to your turntable is like moving up a model and upgrading your cartridge.

Other Features
The Cruise Control also has a couple of very cool features, for instance, push-button speed changes, no more belt changes to switch between 33 and 45rpm records*. For those looking for 78RPM capability, swapping out the pulley on the turntable allows the Cruise Control to switch between 33 and 78rpm. Either way, the Cruise Control delivers absolute control of platter speed with fine adjustments of ±0.1rpm, easily accomplished from the front panel. The quartz locked speed control provides outstanding speed stability with accuracy of ±0.0001% deviation.

* For proper operation, the Cruise Control requires the belt of the turntable be set to the larger diameter pulley.

The Cruise Control is designed to work with Music Hall and Pro-Ject turntables (except for MMF-9 and MMF-11 series), but it will also work with many turntables that use 120V AC synchronous motors. Please give us a call if you have questions about compatibility with your turntable.
