Rega P2 HIGHLY Modified! One Owner!

This is a HIGHLY modified Rega P2. It started life as a SE Rega P2 with the smoke cover and glass platter. As my system has evolved, so has the table. I am now to the point where I need to upgrade the entire table.

This table has the following modifications:

- Rega 24V Motor Upgrade
- J A Michell Tecnoweight
- Incognito Tonearm Rewiring Kit

- Aluminum Record Weight w/Bubble Level

At this point, it far exceeds the performance of a Rega P3-24 and is equivalent to a highly modified P3-24 but with the better (IMHO) RB250 tonearm.

The table is currently equipped with a Denon DL-103R that has been potted with additional steel and lead weights into a Paradox aluminum body. The damping has been added to match the compliance of the RB250 tonearm. Resonance is at about 7-8Hz. It is currently aligned with the Baerwald arc. The cartridge currently has about 200 hours of playtime on in. This price includes the cartridge. If you are not interested in the cartridge, please note that when you make an offer.

Condition is Very Good. The dust cover has some minor scratches but nothing that cannot be polished out. The headshell has marks from cartridge mounting. Functionality is 100% including the cueing arm.

I am the original owner of the table which was purchased brand new at Overture Audio in Ann Arbor, MI on 2/24/2006. I will also include most of the original components with the exception of the glass platter & mat and original motor.
