This is a motor out of a VPI 300rpm case. They are made by HURST.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the motor, I bought a new one to try and reduce the very slight hum, turns out the new one is exactly like this one...hum is coming from wiring to motor.
Comes with high-precision film cap needed to make it run properly.
You will need a larger pulley to run this, not included. Also will transfer the brass collar and thrust bearing from your old motor.
