VPI Classic turntable in black oak with JMW 10 tonearm. Belt drive and unipivot arm. A staple of VPI’s product line and simply a
fine turntable with too many reviews and awards to mention.
Original owner. I am
selling it complete with a Gingko acrylic dust cover and a Soundsmith “VPI”
cartridge. All are in good shape but
naturally have signs of wear as it was my primary table for 5 years.
Great package price. Current full retail on table, cartridge and
dust cover is over $4K.
Strongly prefer SF Bay Area local pickup (Oakland) although
I will consider shipping if there are no local offers. I have the original packing material.

| What are the signs of wear you mentioned? Thank you. Jim. Really just wear from age. There are no nicks or scratches other than surface scratches. The platter has surface scuffs and is not shiny bright. Skirt is fine, there is one small imperfection in the wood that was there when it was new. Dustcover is clear but there are a couple of scuffs. Cartridge has life left and it sounded fine last time I played it. |
