This is the latest incarnation of the popular model 1 series. This edition uses an enhanced crossover with the tweeter from the 3A Signature ( same unit from the 5 series). This opened the speaker up like no previous 1 series. The woofer slot loading has been improved and this speaker is an unbelievable buy in its price range.
These speakers were purchased Dec.3, 2011 and have no more than 2 hours (maybe) on them. They were placed back in the boxes and sealed back up. They certainly are as new. The 1C bases are included.
