I Bought these direct from VD 3 years ago on an Audiogon VD factory sponsored auction --
The extra length helps with installation and improves the sound with , according to Rick Schultz of VirtualDynamics --
These guys are heavy - 8 pounds each --- they are the same gauge as the Genesis cables that I owned, and they have the same brass clutches as Genesis -- only difference I can see is that the magnets are smaller and contained within the sleeves on the ends, while the Genesis has magnets in a large plastic housing --
I honestly could not hear a difference between these and the Genesis. Shipping weight is 18 pounds --
I will include shipping via USPS Priority in CONUS, and by USPS Express mail for International --
