VTL Super deluxe preamp. Very rare , this is the identical circuit to the famous VTL Ultimate & Manley Reference except that it has a single power supply. It is a super deluxe, which was twice the price of the standard deluxe originally. The Phono stage and line stage are full dual mono for maximum separation. It has an outstanding phono stage switchable for moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. For MC cartridges the loading is adjustable internally. Many consider this generation of VTL to be superior to the later VTL TL2.5 & 5
