WYETECH JADE Preamplifier

Wyetech Jade linestage preamplifier. This is the version 1 with the black control knobs. I don't have the newer Jade so I can't tell you in what way it improves or not. But this Jade simply sings.

The unit is serial no. 061 and it's a 115v US version. There is a voltage switch to change to 230v operation, but please refer to Wyetech Lab for instruction on how to change voltage, it might require a change of fuse.

The unit is in near mint condition and have very little used. It's been in storage for the past 2.5 years. I have been keeping it as a reference and was hoping for a bedroom or office system, but this is not going to happen. Rated 8/10 because of a tiny ding on the left side edge and some small scuff marks on the top plate that are hardly visible. The unit has NOS 6SN7 tubes and I have many NOS sets that I bought and never got to try because of time constraint. I can offer some of them to the buyer of the preamp only. I will not be discussing what I have otherwise. I have the original packing and owner's manual.

The version 1 was last retailed for $4800, asking $2175 for quick sale. Buyer pays shipping and Paypal fee. No fee when you use Chase QuickPay (google and read more about it).
