This listing is for a Yamaha RX-1130 Ti Receiver. I�m including for free a matching Yamaha CDX-1030 Ti CD player. Both units are in the beautifully appointed �Titanium� finish. I am the original owner and only user of this system. I meticulously cared for this equipment for as long as I�ve owned it. I have ALL original boxes, manuals, remotes & cords. Everything is in PRISTINE condition. The pictures you see below include additional equipment that is no longer available. The cassette deck and equalizer were both purchased here on Audiogon by a very satisfied Audiogon member for $350. I will gladly put any serious / potential buyers in contact with this member to verify the quality and condition of the equipment that I�ve already sold. This equipment has been unused and packed in their respective boxes for the last few years. They were only removed from their boxes for testing and to take the pictures. This system sounds perfect. All lights/LEDs function perfectly and the glass surfaces are brilliant with marks that could only be detected upon extremely close up inspection. The CD tray opens & closes with a little hesitation. It is clearly a belt issue that can easily be repaired. Otherwise, it functions and sounds perfect.

I purchased this equipment in 1989 directly from Yamaha through their employee purchase plan when I was employed for Sound Advice in Florida. If you are familiar with either of these units, you already know of their quality and the richness of the sound they produce. Even with today�s technology, one would have to spend well over $1000 to get the sound quality that�s put out by this receiver. The RX-1130 was the top of the line receiver offered by Yamaha when it was purchased. By today�s standards, this could easily be compared to the current Yamaha RX-A2000/3000 in terms of power, build quality, and sound. The sound reproduced by the CDX-1030 is equally magnificent. These units are robust and extremely sturdy weighing in at 55 lbs combined (32 lbs for the receiver and 23 lbs for the CD player).

Whereas I gave this an 8/10 rating on the AGS scale, It is arguably a 9/10, while the most meticulous and up close inspector might rate it a 7/10. It really looks great and I will gladly take as many pictures as necessary to satisfy any serious potential buyers.
