Don't be fooled by the fancy appearance of this dac/amp. It looks like just a great headphone stand, but the DAC/amp that is at the bottom is a highly sophisticated product that very closely emulates the Auralic VEGA plus Auralic Taurus stack. It is a true rival to the Chord Hugo, and has a more powerful amp (with 4 pin XLR output).

The Gemini 1000 version gives up very little to the Gemini 2000, which makes the Gemini 1000 a real bargain.
