Designed and hand-made by Jef Larsen, this amp reflects the development of Jef's take on 2A3 amps. This particular one has a 2A3/45 switch to allow easy power tube-rolling. Nice tonal balance and surprising bass for a low-power amp driving the right speakers. It has volume control for use as an integrated amp.
Comes with pair of Sylvania 45's, pair of RCA 2A3 blackplates, pair of Hytron 46's with adapters, pair of Tungsol 6SN7's, and Sylvania 5R4GY rectifier. All tubes are low hours.
The amp was used sparing since I never did get high-efficient speakers to drive it with. This well-made piece is a great way to discover SET sound at a very reasonable cost.
