This 12" Reed was special ordered for someone that did not complete the purchase. It has the good options. Optional silver wire and matching Silver Bullet Eichmann RCA's. Easy to set VTA and real gold plating polished to a high luster. The red cedar armwand keeps the effective mass in the middle range so most cartridges will match up well.

| There is a knurled screw on the headshell. Is this used to adjust azimuth? Also, am I correct to assume that there are markings on the tower to set& reset VTA on the fly? Thanks Hi,

Yes, the knurled screw on the headshell is for fine tuning the azimuth.
The VTA is also super easy to adjust but there are no graduations etched into the body. Should be but they don't because of the different coatings they apply like the gold. I find it reliable to just count the turns on the large top adjusting knob. One full turn changes the SRA very little so full turns are easy to remember. |
