Monitor Audio GX200 Tower Loudspeaker - Piano Gloss Black

When is comes to a fantastic performing speaker for the price, Monitor Audio is one of the favorite lines in our shop.  The smaller GX100 bookshelf sings absolutely beautifully with crisp, clean highs from its ribbon tweeter and rock solid performance.  Now anchor that speaker to the floor and add a couple more woofers and you have one amazing full range loudspeaker. Not only does the GX200 tower sound like a lot of speakers near and above $10K, it also looks better than all of them.  These are absolutely gorgeous in piano black.  


This is a beautiful open box pair in pristine condition. Used for brief customer demos in our private, by-apt showroom.   No scratches, scuffs of dings. Includes all original packing, boxes, manual and all parts and grills. Also includes base plinths and feet, although not shown in pictures.  As a Monitor dealer we are including the full manufacturer warranty.

• The GX200 is a 3-way speaker featuring a GX ribbon tweeter using technology from the platinum line.


•  Its uses a 4" mid-range and 2X,  5" spun aluminum and magnesium driver cones with over-sized magnets and coils and rigid cast baskets.


• The mids are housed in a sealed chamber to minimize interaction from the other drivers.


• Internally the speakers are wired with Pure Flow silver cable.


• Rigid 20mm MDF is used in all construction throughout and the cabinets radially and cross braced.


• Cabinet sides are curved to minimize internal standing waves and improve time alignment.


• Cabinet plinths are included with spiked feet for improved isolation and clean low end reproduction.


• The finish is a multi layered, high gloss black lacquer.

SHIPPING - We ship worldwide with UPS, Fed-Ex and various truck freight lines (Heavy items).  All items are packed and padded with care if the original packaging is deemed insufficient.  We know how exciting it is to anticipate the arrival of new gear and we want your item to arrive in the same condition it left our facility.

DELIVERY - A commercial address or pick-up at the freight terminal are preferred for shipment weight over 100 Lbs since freight delivery to a residential address may incur an additional lift-gate ($50-$65) and residential fee. ($50-$75).

TAX - 6.5% if picked up in our store or shipped to a FL address. 0% if shipped outside Florida.
