Let the bidding begin...

Here's your chance to own something truly unique! Up for auction is the very first TARA Labs Power Screen. This was the prototype that all other Power Screens were based on. The final model of this prototype became the TARA Labs Power Screen PM2 (Power Module with two AC outlets). This is also the piece that the staff at TARA used as their construction model.

I rated the piece as "mediocre" because it a "rough up".
It is completely functional, just ugly. It was never polished, anodized or finished with silk screening.

The Power Screen PM2 was sold as power conditioner for amplifiers.

Power Screens are passive devices that use CERELEX a frequency tuned RF absorbing material. They clean incoming AC power by absorbing radio frequency noise and AC noise that effects the audio bandwidth. The result is a lower noise floor and widened audio band width. There are many reviews online that can let you know just how special these devices are.

Power Screen PM2's retailed for $599.00 when new.
PS: If the auction reaches $599.00 or more or someone chooses the Buy IT Now at $599.00 I'll through in a used TARA Labs 6' Decade AC Power Cord also. This offer is only if the selling price is $599.00 or more.

Please note: There seams to be a conflict between my PayPal account and Audiogon's payment system. I was informed by one buyer that the system was trying to add shipping even though it is free. I think it has to do with my e-commerce site using the same account. If you experience this issue just send me a note and I'll send a PayPal invoice for the correct amount. Or you can go ahead and pay the extra shipping and I'll refund that portion back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
