Nordost QRT QBASE QB8

For Sale is a Nordost QRT (Quantum Resonant Technology) QB8 AC power distribution unit.  This is the mark one version.  Here is how Nordost describes the unit in the instruction manual:

“The QRT QBASE AC power distribution units are specifically designed to deliver an optimized star-earthed, low-impedance AC supply for any high-quality audio or video system.  They do not rely on active circuitry, but instead employ superior materials, a tuned mechanical structure and QRT’s Focused Earth technique to provide superior performance, not by improving the AC supply but by avoiding the damage done by other distribution units.”

This does not have any over voltage, or surge protection circuitry that can have a detrimental effect on sound.  It uses high quality outlets in a star-earthed topology to pull ground noise to a common point so it can be eliminated.  It is the base of the Nordost family of QRT devices, Power Purifiers, Line Harmonizers, etc…  Or it can be used as I used it as a really good AC distribution strip or with other Nordost products. 
I purchased this from my local Nordost dealer a few years back and it has been powering my front end system up until now.  It was replace by a power purifier system.  It has some scuff marks from regular usage and one ding on the surface (see photo) none of which affects the sound.  I did upgrade it with better rubber feet.
