Rare opportunity to own this hybrid Nuvistor/transistor Class A/B integrated amplifier with separate power supply of which only 500 were made.
Original owner, very little use as I upgraded my entire system.
220 Volts.
The following are excerpts from Michael Fremer’s February 2004 Stereophile review:
“As with the separates, the integrated's power supply is outboard to keep transformer magnetic fields from interfering with low-level signals. The two halves of the M3 are connected by three cables: one fitted with XLRs for the preamp power supply, the other two fitted with Neutrik power connectors for the juice.
The M3 Nu-Vista's output stage is essentially dual-mono. Each channel is fed by its own transformer/power supply, and each has its own dedicated printed circuit board, output transistor array, and heatsink.”

“Nuvistor tubes were invented in the 1950s to solve the many shortcomings of conventional tubes. Unlike them, Nuvistor tubes offer very high reliability, low microphony, low noise, consistency from batch to batch, small size, relatively low power consumption and great technical performance.

The Nu-Vista M3 has 5 line level inputs - CD, Tuner, Aux, SACD, and Tape.
and 1 phono input which can be used for moving magnet (MM) cartridges.
The Nu-Vista M3 has a permanently active preamp output situated on the back panel. This provides extra flexibility for use in multi-room or surround-sound systems etc. This signal comes from the Nu-Vista M3's internal preamp and its output level is thus controlled by the front panel volume control. This output allows easy connection to another power amplifier for bi-amping applications.
