I have a trade deal that I am considering if I don’t sell this here but it's such an amazing amp I thought to put it out here for a Great Price for a quick sale. Trust me there is nothing even remotely close at this price. Nothing!
Again, I would never sell or trade it but I'm buying $30,000 Mono blocks and was hoping to just keep it as an extra amp because it cannot be replaced for anywhere near this price.
Sound quality wise it is the best SS amp I have ever owned and it is every bit as good as they say. It is so good. I am not even sure my new mono blocks will even better. Maybe different but not sure better so we will see. it is more like a monster tube amp but with bass and slam that even the best tube amps can only dream of.
I guarantee you there is nothing close to this amp price wise for performance. Nothing!! So I am offering is this great amp in great shape for well below its value. It will flat out compete and beat any of the other solid state amps on here anywhere near its price.
I ordered a pair of Magico S5 MK II Speakers so going with the mono's but honestly this amp drives them perfectly and it's the best amp I have ever owned. This amp is a monster that sounds like a dream...

Please no low balls this is an awesome amp offered at a great price. It is not a good amp or a really good amp but it is a great amp that is a legit reference standard which is quite rare at this price point.
Sure, its not cheap but greatness never is and there is no doubt what so ever this is a great amplifier. One of the best in the world at its spec.
I had the X350.5 before this amplifier which was a great amp also but this amp is better. More resolution, quicker and better transparency as well as better dynamics when at normal listening levels. Nelson builds a great amp and many call this the best of the .8 amps as its in the sweet spot. Sweeter than the more powerful amps but still enough power to drive pretty much anything..

The rating of 8 is a standard rating that vast majority of used items are listed at on Audiogon. It means it works great and looks great but it is a used item and not still brand new in the package.
So is breaks down like this:
10/10 Brand New by dealer in package and never opened,
9/10 Same condition as brand new but it has been owned and opened and still owned by original owner.
8/10 Similar to 9/10 but may be the 2nd owner and is a used item, Many times the only difference between 9/10 and 8/10 is it is not the original owner. This amp would be like that. It is mint and looks and works perfect. I do not know the exact age and I can contact Nelson if you are serious about buying it. |
