This is a nearly new Anthem STR Power Amplifier with only one flaw -- a 1/4-inch nick inside the upper left front corner of the metal chassis (see pic). The nick has been touched up, and is not readily apparent unless you are looking for it, but it does mandate an honest 6/10 rating. This is the only fault of the amplifier, which has very few hours and no other blemishes whatsoever; even the protective film over the large front-panel readout is still on it. The amplifier itself is a technological tour de force, very high power and stability into any load: 400/600/800 wpc into 8/4/2 ohms. Its readout can display meters and much other operational data, and is the biggest and most beautiful display I have ever seen on a power amp. It sounds even better than it looks, a totally clean window into the power and glory of music. Clean original shipping carton with all contents included. A great deal for someone at this reduced (and firm) price.
