I purchased these speakers from my local authorized Vandersteen dealer. These were their static demo models. They have black end caps and are in perfect functional shape. I have used them very sparingly as we don't do much home theater in our home. I also have a pair of black end cap Vandersteen VLR's if you are looking to complete your home theater and would make a ridiculous bargain bundle price.
