Fully programmable hence the extra ports but this one has been reset to factory defaults making it a plug and play 8 port switch. Note it is 10/100 so plenty fast enough for any type of computer audio application.

Modified to remove the 12V switching power supply to run off an external 12V linear supply... included is a Small Green Computer supply. Internally the oscillator runs off its own dedicated 8V regulator. 

I was using with a Naim Uniti Nova streamer with great effect but have reconfigured so no longer needed (see that listing)

I have other units for sale without the external supply, but could be modified to run off of one. Some report good results daisy chaining multiple switches.
