PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE OFFERING/PURCHASING!!!

I've been enjoying this VPI Industries JMW-10 3D on my VPI Prime since buying it new from a local dealer in 2016.  It has lived its life in the friendly confines of the Gingko dust cover that you can see in the pix.  It has performed FLAWLESSLY for me. 

Recently, I decided to sell the Ortofon Quintet Black cartridge that was installed by my dealer at initial in-home set-up and - in the process of taking and reviewing pictures to list the cartridge - I saw what I thought was a tiny fiber on the front of the tonearm.  Upon closer inspection at high magnification, I realized that "fiber" was a TINY crack in the headshell.  Because I'm completely OCD, I have decided to upgrade to a Fatboy along with my new cartridge.  

So, I'm going to sell the VPI Industries JMW-10 3D at a WAY below market price because someone out there will LOVE to upgrade to a wonderful tonearm and will soon forget about the tiny crack (I've even read online about people gluing a headshell in this situation).

I've done my very best to take as may pictures as possible of the tonearm overall and the crack on the headshell in particular so you'll know EXACTLY what you're getting.

Again, this crack has in no way affected the play/sound of the tonearm.  For all I know, it has been there since initial installation and I never noticed until I saw it in highly magnified photos.

Sale includes tonearm with standard wiring, main counterweight and side counterweights.  To be extra-clear (in response to a few questions I've rec'd) the base for the tonearm is NOT included in this sale (nor is it for sale).  This sale only includes the "tonearm wand" with std wiring, main counterweight and side counterweights.  Apologies for any confusion I might've caused!

My ask price is equal to the lowest price this tonearm has ever sold for on Audiogon.  Someone is going to get a DEAL!
