Stunning Artisan Fidelity Garrard 401 Statement v1 Turntable – Piano Black Gloss, with v2 main inverted Sapphire bearing and Heavy Platter, and Stillpoints Ultra SS isolation. Includes two matching Panzerholz tonearm boards: one pre-drilled board compatible with a tonearm with a pivot to spindle distance of ~267.5mm (12" effective length) and 24-25mm mounting collar (shaft diameter), and one blank board that can be drilled to accommodate any 9"-12" effective length tonearm configuration (see photos). Completely rebuilt from the top down – factory sleeve bushings and the thrust plate have been replaced, factory motors rebuilt, internal bushings restored and re-aligned to factory specifications, then re-lubricated prior to final assembly. Stock factory idler wheels have been replaced using modern machined high tolerance idler wheels featuring a special rubber composite outer rim with stainless steel hub. Precision machined Brass motor spindles are supplied for international compatibility. All new replacement parts used in the rebuild are high tolerance precision machined components built to last a lifetime.
The Garrard 401 plinth consists of select natural woods conjoined with multi layered substrates. The armboard is constructed of engineered German Panzerholz for superior playback characteristics and stability. The use of these desirable select hardwoods along with multi-base layer substrates, bonding methodology and synthetic sealer resins all play a vital role in tone and resonant tuning.
The v2 main inverted Sapphire bearing and Heavy Platter, inverted large bore bearing and modular Copper hybrid, internally damped platter design takes inner resolution, overall noise floor and L/R channel separation to a whole other level.
The LDA Quartz Turntable Power Supply MKII provides precise 50Hz power that is digitally generated with the goal of providing an exact 50Hz sine wave of high frequency stability and low distortion, providing the best sound possible from the turntable. The unit is supplied with a mains power lead and a cable from the power supply to the turntable.
