I use both HD650 and HD800 headphones in balanced mode which brings out the best in both sets of phones -- detailed but without the brightness.

It has 3 inputs, one set balanced, one set unbalanced RCA and one 3.5mm mini jack for digital players or smart phones. It even has a balanced XLR line output so it can be used as a preamplifier to drive a stereo power amp, not just headphones.

It is able to drive all headphones with impedance ratings from 32 to 600 ohms and it can drive multiple headphones at the same time.
