This is an immaculate driver unit for the Stax earspeakers (headphones). Excellent in combo with the Stax-SR-009 which I have in another ad. As you can see from the photos, you can use 2 pairs of earspeakers, and there are 3 inputs. This is a terrific unit. Yes it is 4 tubes 6FQ7/6CG7 type. The unit and tubes have maybe 300-400 hours of usage (just fully broken in). I am the original and only owner, as with the headphones and yes I did purchase these at the old higher price. The asking price includes shipping and PayPal fees. Any offers, those fees are additional. The best feature of this unit is like most good headphone amps you can adjust the balance of the volume (a little more left, a little more right).
