For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by legendary Texan blues pioneer BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON (1893-1929, "The father of the Texas blues"), titled:

original 1974 pressing on Milestone Records M 47022, MONOAURAL, gatefold cover, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve. No bar code on back cover. Album never reissued to date on vinyl format.

CONDITION:
- front cover is between Exc. to NM (having some light shelf-ring wear in its bottom area)
- back cover is Exc. (having some light shelf-wear ring in its upper area and both sides)
- vinyl is NM all four sides

Record was cleaned and tested, playing MINT.

Featuring Blind Lemon Jefferson (vocals, guitar)

32 tracks total, 8 one each side, recorded as follows:
- 1-24 recorded in Chicago between 1926 and 1928
- 25-32 recorded in Richmond, Indiana, March and September, 1929

Music is early blues rendered mostly in the country-blues style, also in an incipient Texas blues style featuring some swing elements and faster guitar play approach. Album produced by Orrin Keepnews. A must-have blues album, rare in any condition. Highly recommended!
