Update, this table will now be sold with two Arms. The Rega RB300 and now also a Coloratura Graphite Uni-pivot Arm in NM condition that retails for 1200.00. This is an amazing sounding Arm and the Arm Board to support it comes along. Aloha, here is a one of a kind custom Table built by me. I will start by saying this Table embarassed my VPI TNT III. It is a heavy weight table, and all the components are very substantial and built to last for ever. The motor is the Hurst a/c motor used by VPI. It is housed in my custom solid bronze bearing stock tube, 3/4 inch wall thickness. The housing weighs in at appox. 20 lbs. The top and bottom caps are 5/16 inch aircraft alum. All the hardware is SS Hex. You can use any type power cord you choose. The Tonearm base is made of the same materials and floats completely free of the Turntable Base. It weighs in at 25lbs and is filled with lead shot. Three acrylic Tonearm mounting plates will be included. Two blanks and one drilled for the Rega RB300 arm that is also included. The Rega is only about a month old and is in near mint condition. No cart. is included. The Turntable base is 3/4 inch solid Walnut and is very beautiful. The plinth is 1 inch solid Italian Marble. The platter is the vaunted VPI Super Platter and bearing. The Base is supported by two layers of 3/4 inch Mahogany veneered Marine plywood that creates a 3 " void that an be filled with lead shot or sand for more mass. The base with the platter weighs approx 50 lbs. Filled with lead it will push 100 lbs. I have not tried it fully weighted yet. The fine tuning possibilities with this floating Arm arrangement are endless. I have gotten amazing results with the Rega. With a much better arm this thing will be impossible to beat at its price point and way beyond. Not to mention the COOL FACTOR. You will not see anything like this anywhere!!! I am also including a mint VPI speed controller. No expense or time was spared putting this rig together. You can not duplicate it at this price unless you build it your self.
