I am selling a nice pair of rare Heathkit W-6M tube amplifiers, rated at 70 watts rms. I will rate them 7/10 cosmetically. There are no scratches or dings the chassis, however, the paint is faded and could use some serious TLC. The tube cages are included and are in good shape. Operationally, they are in excellent condition. They were recently checked out and serviced by SerTech Electronics in San Jose and are performing excitingly well. The 6550's are fairly new Sovtek's. The 12AX7's and 12AU7's are all Baldwin branded GE's. The 12BH7's are also GE's. I am including and extra set of the the 12AX7's, 12AU7's and 12BH7 tubes. These amps have the famous Peerless 16431 output transformers. They have been in my family for many years, and now it's time to let them go. I do not have the impedance selection plugs, but I believe they are set internally for 8 ohms. Also included is a factory original assembly manual and a copy of the famous Vacuum Tube Valley, Issue 2 Volume 1 article produced in 1995. Due to age, I am selling them "as is" with no warranty other than they will be in working condition when I ship them. I normally sell on ebay and you can check my 100% positive feedback (Soundpreserver). Richard 831-642-0732 between 8am-7pm pacific time.
