This is a brand new pair of custom-made, vintage-look Williamson monoblocks, built for a client who suffered a setback and was unable to take delivery.  Based on the "Musician's Amplifier," the first American Williamson, they feature superb reproductions of the legendary Peerless S-265-Q output transformer, manufactured by Heyboer of Michigan.  The power transformers and chokes are also custom-made.  The main circuit is housed on a heavy-duty PCB with sturdy Belton sockets mounted on offsets to effectively eliminate heat transfer to the board.  The original Williamson design has been updated to ensure complete stability and ultra-smooth response.  The amps are capable of 23 watts per channel output at less than 1% THD.  The frequency response is flat from 30Hz to 40kHz.  They are self-biasing and can accommodate any output tube in the 6L6 family without any changes on the user's part, including KT66, 6L6GC, 7581a, 807 or 5933 (with adapters, not included), and 5881.  Rectifier tube options include 5AR4/GZ34, 5V4/GZ32, GZ37, 5U4 and 5R4.  A digital meter is included to fine-tune the output tube balance for best performance.  Due to the special construction of the Peerless output transformers, the output impedance must be changed internally for 16, 8 or 4 ohm speakers.  This can be done by the user and a kit is provided for this purpose.  They come with a manual that gives a little history of the amplifier and the circuit, and instructions for tube-swapping and output impedance adjustment.  Also included is a premium set of tubes, a $500 value consisting of a matched quad of Gold Lion KT66s, Genelex GZ34s and new-old-stock GE 6SN7s.  There's no need to spend a dime on "upgrades" to enjoy the best possible sound.  I will sell them without the tubes if you prefer.

The amps come with an unconditonal guarantee, but a schematic and board diagram are included in the event that sometime way down the road they need to be repaired.  Shipping is free within the continental US.  They can be returned within 14 days of delivery if you're not absolutely taken with them.

If you've never heard a true Williamson, you owe it yourself to try these.  With the right speakers they produce a rich, powerful sound with deep, tuneful bass, a three-dimensional midrange and sweet top end, with never a trace of fatigue or stridency.  Instruments, voices and recording ambience are reproduced with startling fidelity.  I've sold quite a few of these and they mate very well with ProAc, Spendor, Silverline, Living Voice, Polk, LS3/5A-style monitors, and even Nestorovich speakers.  You don't need super-efficient speakers or full-range drivers to enjoy these amps.  If you're considering a single-ended or modestly-powered budget push-pull amp, you really should consider these.
