I am the second owner. This pair was made for the owner of MFA as the best Bruce and Scott could do. I have owned and enjoyed the M-200 B, D and E (with full Scott Frankland updates) and this goes beyond them.. Triode mode for warmth and transparency offering just enough forgiveness to make you believe your recordings are really happening again now. Or Ultralinear mode for a lively and exciting presentation with the body and weight. Dual output transformers and oversized power supply and all the best parts of it's time for top grade sound. Recently new power supply capacitors and output tubes, so they are ready for many years of enjoyment. I have owned the Audio Research VTM-200's and Reference 300's and this stands with them and betters them in musicality. Will double box for safety.
