Micro Seiki BL-91
2-Speed Belt-Drive Turntable (1979-1983)
a massive, thick, 12.2 inch platter, employing special alloy bearings
machined and polished with techniques usually reserved for turbojet
Micro Seiki engineers devised an exclusive oil-bath damping system to
support the entire rotating assembly in complete isolation from all
A precision-ground drive belt connects the rotating assembly to the
brushless, servo-controlled motor with total isolation from motor
In fact, the BL-91 (L) is probably the smoothest, most vibration-free device of its kind ever built.

I really don't know much about turntables. It has a straight arm on it with a Mission cartridge. Sounds good and everything seems to work fine. There is only one minor scratch on the base which is shown in one of the pictures. The dustcover is in great shape. I would say the dustcover overall is in excellent shape. Not being familiar with this turntable I am not sure if the wood base is supposed to be perfectly smooth or if it has some wood detail to it. The base on this one is not perfectly smooth, you can feel the grain on it. Looks fabulous. I bought a new belt for it as the old one fell of and melted on the base during storage. There is a slight shadow of the old belt on the base but it is under the platter and isn't obvious. It is just a slight color difference.
I wouldn't have the first clue on how to ship this so I am leaving that up to the buyer to let me know. Shipping fees will be paid directly by the buyer. I would love it to be a local pick up.
