King's Audio KingSound Prince II Electrostatic Speakers

Used, excellent condition KingSound Prince II electrostatic speakers from King's Audio. Comes with Vac power supplies and modified Sistrum stand to set the speaker on, the stand showing some signs of wear is critical to great sound with these speakers the really work well. Also includes High Fidelity Cables waveguides in the crossover and HFC magnetic binding posts.  These have huge dynamics and very clean and fast one of the most organic engaging speakers we have heard.  This speaker performs at many times its retail price point and offers a true reference speaker resolution.  It is quite easy to drive and uses a 12-volt power supply to power the speaker to reduce the typical high voltages common to electrostatics. It is very safe running 12 v and with modifications a true dream loudspeaker set with unusual speed, clarity, and a truly organic sound they are really quite something to hear. I do recommend a sub with them.   Stands are recently refurbished and look new, the speakers are quite mint.  The stands offer mechanical grounding to keep the speaker from dealing with resonance they are a modified StarSound/Audiopoints SP-1 with enlarged nickel-coated solid brass footers.   Speaker is mounted to base with the original speaker stand holes. The original stand was MDF and did not allow the speaker to perform as it could. The Vac power supplies are a huge upgrade offing a clean 12v supply to the speaker and replace original wall warts. These are known to be a big upgrade and sold for around 2000 a pair.  Power supplies have a few marks and scratches but look good overall, These speakers sound incredible if you want to hear them you are welcome to, we are in the Dallas area, in downtown Mckinney TX.  2146147111  8-10 rating is only due to power supplies. Should be 9-10 really as they are very clean.

The stands have been recently re-finished and are of superb quality.
