I purchased this cable a few months ago from a trusted member. I had hoped to have Purist convert It to a balanced cable with XLR connectors since my PBN phono stage only works with a balanced cable. Jim Aud informed me that this model cannot be converted to balanced, thus the forced sale. I did have Purist repair the frayed jacket and replace the shrink wrap on the din end
