I bought this Audible Illusions Modulus 3 pre-amp used back in 2002. I used it frequently until I moved (and had children), so it has been boxed up for more than a decade. I miss listening to my old tube system (Mitchell Turntable + Counterpoint Hybrid amp + Coincident speakers) Time to find this legend a new home!
* This modulus 3 came with the MC cartridge "gold board" phono stage upgrade. * External power supply (the cord to the power supply is missing, but that is easily replaced) * Dual mono design No remote (no back lighting either)
Cosmetically, great shape aside from a scratch on the back of the top cover. Also missing two of the hex nuts to secure the top cover. (Both problems are visible in the photograph).
Can throw in the 4 Amperex JAN-7308 and Sovtek 6922 tubes I was using in it as well.
I do not have the original box, but the box I have had custom molded foam to protect the pre-amp that fits it perfectly.
