Four driver, three way design. Very elegant and small footprint for spouse acceptance. These are the black piano finish, not black oak. Picture is with outrigger feet not attached. I had these packed up and didn’t want to reassemble the feet. Monitors web site will show with feet attached. These are very amp friendly. I drove them fine with my 30 watt tube amp in a small room. I would recommend something in the 50 plus range. Front baffle is gorgeous, I prefer them without grills. Design inspired by the platinum range, which is my current favorite speaker from Monitor. These have 20 hours of play time so they’re barely broken in at this point. There is a small scuff on on of the tops that is noticeable under certain light hence the 9/10 rating.
