YFS Modification
12V/ 7.5Amp DC linear power supply with an 24" umbilical which attaches to the rear of the Mac Mini via a 2.5mm DC barrel jack.
The internal switching power supply on the stock Mac Mini has been removed and replaced it with high quality silver leads straight from the Mini motherboard fed into a high quality internal power filter, then to a 2.5mm x 5.5mm DC power jack on the Mini rear panel.  
The result is better bass response, more detail, better slam, a wider and taller sound stage, and more dynamics. The Mac Mini runs a lot cooler which means it will last a lot longer.
Power supply built from scratch by YFS in Upstate NY.Entirely hand crafted in the USA.

History
I am the second owner and I know that Kevin O’Brien at YFS is very supportive of his product.

I upgraded the OS to Sierra about one year ago in order to run Audirvana 3.5.

I used this Mac Mini/YFS combination directly attached to the DAC and via LAN remotely using Audirvana+ Remote and my Sonore ultraRendu. It has worked flawlessly for the two years I have owned it. I’ve only used this Mac in the capacity of an Audirvana player.The IWC Headless Accelerator plugs in to the back of the MacMini and improves cursor tracking performance when used in a screen share environment.

I am selling now because I’ve simplified my main system. The Mac Mini Sierra OS has been reset to factory fresh status and is ready for the new owner. When you power up you will be greeted with the fresh install screen, an easy to follow setup procedure that Apple uses for entering Apple ID, passwords, etc. Of course you will need to provide your own player software of choice (i.e., Roon, Audirvana, etc…)

I’ll rate this conservatively at 8/10 although I’ve not seen anything cosmetically that jumps out at me.
