We are offering an Ortofon AS-309S 12" tonearm. This arm is approximately five years old. It was installed on my turntable and not removed, save for the occasion to upgrade the base with TTW Audio heavier direct replacement base at a cost to me of $176. The installed base in the photo is the upgrade. The uninstalled base in the photo is the original. Both are included.
There is also an additional factory original Ortofon Counterweight. The installed counterweight in the photo is the heavier, appropriate for Ortofon SPU-A cartridges. The uninstalled counterweight is the original Ortofon that came with it. Both are factory original Ortofon counterweights made for this tonearm, just different weights. Both are included.
There is also an approximately 44" NEGLEX brand DIN to RCA phono interconnect. It is gold plated and looks very nice. It was never installed, as I discovered it when retrieving the original packing materials.
This tonearm is conservatively listed as 8/10 condition. It was basically installed and has performed flawlessly. I'm not a guy who changed tonearms, etc. This is my only tonearm. It is not shopworn in any way. Just beautiful.
