This is a truly high-end music server. It features a unique clear ethernet out that can be used by the renderer/player. It has 2x3TB hard drives currently partitioned at RAID0 (that is 6TB of storage with no drive redundancy) but can be configured differently by the buyer or by me at the buyers request. It is the current model.
If as an audiophile you have not tried UPnP music playing, I highly recommend you try it.
This Melco is the newer version and also has a USB output that can connect directly to a USB DAC without the need for a separate renderer.
Original price for this unit is EUR2500 USD2800.
The unit is perfectly functional and comes with the original box and material. It has been carefully used.
