Hello Audiogon members. Moving to a smaller home, I am forced to
sell my Odyssey Audio System. My wife decided to get something smaller. So, here we go - round two. I have to downgrade to something
smaller; more wife approved for our new home. I am the original
owner. The system was used in a smoke free, child free, pet free
environment. I don't listen to my music loud; but you may. Come Listen and Buy. The sale will include Stratos mono blocks (green
board), Tempest preamplifier with remote,
interconnects for the amp/pre and one source component, two power
cables for the amps, one for the preamp. All of the interconnects cables are
Groneberg from Klaus. The condition is almost flawless minus the
power on indicator switch light on one of the amps is out. I would rate them an 8/10 but
decided to downgrade the rating to a 7/10. Unfortunately I don't
have any of the boxes to ship.

Sorry I have been unable to update my listing post with answers to questions, and respond to offers. I hope everyone and their families' are doing well during this crisis.
So not to waste time, I wanted to sell my system as a set; not speakers less the electronics or vice versa. But, I understand building a setup is unique to the listener and it's known what the next piece to the puzzle one needs. That said, the speakers are spoken for and are no longer available. The amps and preamp are still available - the current updated price reflects that. I haven't gotten the time to move the amps and pre off of my rack to take pictures of the back. I will try and post them when time permits. But don't let that stop you from buying the electronics - come have a listen (By appointment only).

| What was retail new, approximately, on the individual components? Hello. Approximately $7600, not adding the cables which were $1000. The price is fair.

| I wish we were closer! I actually live 20 minutes south of Indianapolis. I’ve spoken to Klaus before and was hoping to get an amp built. Divorce, everything changed... Sorry to hear that. If that is the case I say, work with Klaus. He is a wonderful person, he is very passionate about his work and contribution to this hobby. I am sure he could work something out with you. I wish I could ship, but at this time it is not possible.

| So I've been looking to buy a tempest new, but you have the whole stereo. Could you give me all the details on the preamp? I see you have the optional remote and the black anodized. It does have the mc/mm selection correct? Optional second outputs? I'm sure I could easily just switch the cables if I wanted. I have a stratos stereo amp already. Hello. I neglected to mention, the preamplifier has the mm/mc and four inputs, plus a tape loop; that's five inputs total. I will only sell the preamp and amplifiers together for the asking price listed. I still have the speakers on hand for a while so you can come and demo the electronics before purchasing If interested.
