Stirling Broadcast AB-2 bass extenders for LS3/5a type monitor speakers.
They
are in exceptional condition….I cannot find anything to comment on
cosmetically. They work perfectly as new. I purchased them new from an
authorized retailer.
The wood grain veneer is beautiful and described by Stirling Broadcast as ‘ebony’.
The units have spiked bases, which disassemble for shipping.
These
are British-made bass units, a more modern variant of the original
Rogers AB-1 bass extenders. I have used them with Stirling ls3/5a V2 and
Rogers LS3/5A. They can be configured in a variety of ways: wired in
parallel or series to the monitors, vertically stacked with each
monitor, or positioned behind stand-mounted monitors. My listening space
is now small, and develops enough bass without these, so they are up
for sale.
I have the original factory double box and the original
speaker to bass unit banana cable connectors. Shipping weight is 58lb.
