Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including some very light surface scratches on the tops, sides, and baffles of the aluminum cabinets and a few light nicks on the right edge of one of the main units. The fasteners for the speakers show a small amount of oxidation, but are covered by the grill feet. Two of the subwoofer driver surrounds have subtle impression marks, though their functionality and sound are not effected. These speakers have some very light wear but still present beautifully from your listening position.

Other Notes: This is a wonderful opportunity to own an early version of the Anat Reference I speaker system. Manufactured in Israel, these Black and Brushed Aluminum speakers were designed and built by the founder of YG Acoustics for his father in the early years of the company. These speakers have only known one owner and have been well cared for in the intervening years.
The main modules are in beautiful condition and the sub modules are very rare examples of the early rectangular form factor, as opposed to the later trapezoidal shape. The subwoofers are powered by Hypex HS-500 plate amps that run on 230 Volts. PLEASE NOTE that special electrical service will be required for use in the US. For those who desire to only purchase the passive mains, they are being offered on their own for $6499
"Quite often, we are asked how the Anat Reference sounds. Our response - it does not "sound" at all; it merely transforms the electrical input signal into sound pressure waves, without altering content in any significant manner. There is no "voicing" which makes the speaker sound more "pleasant", since at YG Acoustics we feel that the original signal (as recorded at a live event) is the only truly pleasant experience for a music lover. In order to achieve the seemingly impossible task of maintaining the input untouched, we had to set aside most of the currently available equipment, which was not nearly accurate enough for our needs. Instead, we set forth and developed our own optimization software, assessment methods and quality-control process. Shipping: Shipping within the Continental USA is $999- This includes securing to a pallet with adequate protection and shipping via FedEx Freight to a residential address anywhere in the Continental USA. This rate can be reduced by $60 if a commercial delivery address available or if item can be picked up at nearest FedEx Freight depot. FedEx Freight charges a residential delivery fee otherwise which is included in our flat rate charge.

During the 30-day return period, a return or exchange can be requested for any reason. If the product is defective in some way, TMR will cover all related shipping costs.
